M/S TJELDØY i Trinindad
Craft built as an inter island ferry for use in the Arctic with ice sheathing round the waterline 107ft. Built by Stord, Norway in 1956 in this service until 1970 Decommissioned and conversion to a yacht commenced, present accommodation for twenty in twelve cabins. Kelvin T8 265hp diesel driving a VP propeller through a conventional gear box. Three auxilary diesels. Usual navigational aids, some may need updating.
